Nexus 2012 Venue
The Nexus 2012 conference will take place in the Department of Industrial Design, Art, Comunication and Fashion (INDACO) in the lecture hall "Aula Castiglioni", Building PK, on the Bovisa Campus Durando 10 of the Politecnico di Milano. Maps are provided below.

Bovisa is a former industrial area in the northwestern part of Milan. It played an important role in the industrialization of Milan, as was a center for the energy industry, with two big gas towers that still characterize the area. Over the past 20-30 years, Bovisa has changed, and is now becoming the most important university center of Milan. The Politecnico di Milan now has two campuses (Architecture-Design and Engineering), and plans to enlarge them with student housing, a new library, a sport center, etc. The Brera Academy of Art is also planning to move to this area. Moreover, the museum Triennale di Milano has opened a new exposition area in Bovisa, close to another cultural association, BaseB. All these activities have transformed Bovisa into a lively zone, where cultural institutions collaborate and interact with the university.
The Bovisa Campus is located on the north-west of Milano, not far from the city-centre.
In order to reach the Campus take the metro:
red line to Porta Venezia, or
green line to Porta Garibaldi, or
yellow line to Repubblica.
At one of the metro stations listed above catch the Passante Ferroviario or blue line to Bovisa.
Once you go out of Bovisa station, turn left to reach the Architecture and Design Campus, via Durando 10.
