Gonçalo Azevedo
Gonçalo
Azevedo is a registered architect licensed in 2005 by the Department
of Architecture of University of Coimbra with the conclusion
of the thesis "Digital Conspiracy". From 2002 to 2004 he collaborated
with NU magazine. From 2003 to 2005 he worked at Ammar Eloueini
DS. In 2005 he founded Lamp Lumps, a concept for exclusive lamps.
In 2006 he was awarded the Young Creative's prize from Clube
Português Artes e Ideias. He was artistic director of
the installation Wall of Secrets with Berta Teixeira. He was
a Young Creative fellow of Portuguese National Center for Culture
and co-authored the scenic set with Cecil Balmond (2007). From
2005 to 2008 he worked with ARX Portugal Arquitectos of José
and Nuno Mateus. He is a founding Member of Circo de Ideias
- Associação Cultural. In 2009, with Luís
Afonso and Ingrid Murer he founded glamur arquitectos.
